Eric G. Schiela
Managing Principal, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
In the role of Chief Operating Officer, Eric is responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day activities of the various departments. He also works directly with David Rubenstein in planning and implementing various initiatives to drive financial and operating performance at all the properties as well as the efficiencies across all of the various departments of the Fund Manager.
From 1990 to 1999, Eric was a Project Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers where he was responsible for managing the planning, design and construction of new buildings, infrastructure and building rehabilitation projects for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. He also managed investigation, design and construction phases of environmental remediation projects under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund program. Eric joined TRCLP as a Development Manager in February 2001 and was responsible for planning, design and approval of the 1.2M square foot Valley Creek North office campus. In 2003, he took on added asset management responsibilities and oversaw the redevelopment of the Wyeth portfolio acquisition, a 1.5 million square foot redevelopment project in Radnor, PA.
