David is responsible for asset management and investment activities in the Southeastern United States. He oversees the strategic asset management of the Fund’s 1.5 million sf (approx) portfolio located in the central perimeter sub market of Atlanta. In addition, he actively pursues operating partner relationships and selection of investment opportunities in Georgia, the Carolinas and Florida.

In 1985, David joined Harold Farb Investments, in Houston, Texas, where he was involved in the management of mixed-use real estate assets. In 1986, he joined Central Management, Inc., providing a wide range of office, industrial and retail real estate services to The Travelers, Copely Real Estate Advisors and other institutional owners. In 1988, he became Vice President for Crocker & Company, located in South Florida, overseeing office, mixed-use and hotel assets owned by the company as well as TIAA/CREF and the Ohio State Teachers Employee Retirement System. David then joined Trizec Properties, Inc., in 1991, as General Manager in Kansas City, Missouri. He relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1997, where he led Trizec’s growth from 800,000 square feet to over 4.5 million square feet within two years. Following a promotion to Regional Vice President in 2001, he was responsible for Trizec’s 8 million square foot portfolio in the Southeastern United States and expanded the Company’s Atlanta presence through the development of the 560,000 square foot Alliance Center and several suburban office buildings. In 2004, David was promoted to Senior Vice President responsible for Trizec’s disposition of several non-core assets, oversight of all activities within the Atlanta market, and the development and implementation of strategic corporate initiatives. Prior to joining Rubenstein Partners in 2007, and after 15 years with Trizec, David participated in the Blackstone purchase, and subsequent sale, of Trizec’s 3.5 million square foot Atlanta portfolio in 2006.

David graduated from the University of Missouri in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. David is a BOMA – Real Property Administrator; IREM Certified Property Manager; Member of CoreNet; NAIOP Member; Board Member and Executive Committee Member of the Atlanta Midtown Alliance and a Former Board Member of the Midtown Atlanta CID Board.
